Dog Walker, Pet Sitter & Pet Business Mentor
Hi, I’m Emma and animals have always been a huge part of my life. After losing my chocolate Labrador Sam in 2019, I decided to create something that truly mattered.
S.A.M Pet Services was born in his honour, and starting my own pet business felt like the most meaningful way to move forward.
Five years on, I run a thriving dog walking and pet sitting service in Prestwich, with Oscar firmly by my side as my daily reminder to slow down, laugh and enjoy the muddy moments.
Alongside my local services, I now support pet businesses across the UK through pet business support, mentoring, networking and social media guidance, combined with my experience from working in corporate IT and retail finance.
When I first joined business support spaces myself as a dog walker, I often felt like I didn’t quite fit in. Many didn’t understand the realities of running a pet business or the pressure of trying to do a physical job as well as grow online without burning out.
That’s why I now run a supportive community and a membership where pet professionals can connect, build confidence, attract the right clients, make sales and grow their business in a way that feels sustainable and human.
This work brings together everything I love. Pets, people and helping others build a pet business they’re genuinely proud of.
